The Karkala Shri Gommateshwara Statue is a monumental statue of Lord Bahubali (Gommateshwara), located in Karkala, Karnataka, India. Standing at 42 feet tall, it is one of the tallest statues of Lord Bahubali in the region. With its monolithic granite sculpture, it is proudly build on the top of a hill by the Vijayanagara king Veera Pandya in 1432 and serves as an important pilgrimage center of the Jains. Depicted so serenely and majestically, the statue is an icon for non-violence, peace, and self-restraint.
