An ancient stone inscription monument, most likely a historic boundary stone or memorial stone preserved for heritage value. The structure is made of black granite stone. It has a house-shaped top (gable style), which is common in old Kerala memorial or boundary markers. In the center, there is a carved inscription slab with old script (possibly Malayalam, Tamil, or ancient Grantha script). At the bottom, you can see a plaque that reads “Conserved by”, indicating it has been protected by an archaeological or heritage department (likely the Archaeological Survey or local heritage authority).
It Could Be: An old boundary marker (kalluvettam / inscription stone)
A memorial stone (Veerakkal or Nadukal type). A historical land grant or temple-related inscription. Such stones are commonly found in Kerala temple premises, old forts, or heritage sites and usually date back several centuries.
