Kodungallur Bharani is a famous annual festival celebrated at Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple in Kerala during March–April. The festival is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, celebrating her victory over the demon Darika.

The people are temple oracles called Velichappadu who participate in the festival. They wear red clothes, flower garlands, and carry swords or ritual staffs as symbols of devotion while performing sacred rituals during the Kodungallur Bharani festival.
