The Brahmadeva Pillar in Shravanabelagola, Karnataka is a beautiful monolithic structure, dedicated to Brahmadeva, an esteemed Jain deity, flamboyantly carved and extricating before the statue of Gomateshwara. Erected as a symbol of Jain art and culture with beautiful carvings and inscriptions showcasing the production of ancient artisans-the pillar is, therefore, a monument in itself that commemorates and marks the spiritual and historical significance of Gomateshwara, which is one of the largest monolithic statues in the world representing Bahubali, a revered figure in Jainism.
