This is the Chennakesava Temple at Belur, located in Hassan district, Karnataka, India. Its the temple was commissioned in 1117 AD by King Vishnuvardhana of the Hoysala dynasty. And it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture.
The temple is famous for its intricate carvings, sculptures, and detailed friezes depicting scenes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and other Hindu epics.
The outer walls are covered with richly detailed sculptures, while the interiors feature polished pillars and ornate ceilings. Belur, along with nearby Halebidu, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site candidate due to its cultural and architectural significance.
