An archaeological display of stone bead–making. It illustrates the different stages involved in making stone beads, including:
Stone raw material – unprocessed stones collected from nature
Stone debitage – stone chips and waste produced during cutting and shaping
Stone bead blank – roughly shaped bead pieces
Stone bead rough-out – partially finished beads
Finished stone beads – polished and ready for use. Such displays are commonly found in archaeological museums or excavation reports to explain ancient bead-manufacturing technology, especially from early historical or prehistoric periods in South India.
