Its a long arched corridor of Tipu Sultan’s Palace ruins in Srirangapatna, near Mysuru (Mysore), Karnataka, India. This passage is part of the Srirangapatna Fort complex, which was once the stronghold of Tipu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore in the 18th century. The corridor’s arched ceiling and stone flooring are typical of Indo-Islamic military architecture. It is believed that such passages were used for movement of guards, soldiers, or for connecting different sections of the fort securely. The fort also houses the famous Daria Daulat Bagh (Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace) and Gumbaz Mausoleum, both popular tourist attractions today.
