This is the Paradesi Synagogue, which also known as the Jewish Synagogue in Mattancherry, located in Kochi (Cochin), Kerala, India. The interior has the famous hand-painted Chinese floor tiles—unique to the Paradesi Synagogue.

The ceiling is filled with Belgian glass chandeliers, another signature feature.

The gold-covered ark (Torah ark) at the far end is a key landmark of this synagogue. The people are wearing traditional Jewish prayer shawls (tallit), indicating it’s an active place of worship. Built in 1568, it is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth. Located in Jew Town, Mattancherry, Kochi.
